Principals Talent, one of Canada's leading boutique agencies, offering personalized representation to the finest performers in the entertainment industry.

Principals Talent Inc. is a full service (film, television, commercial, voice-over and mocap) agency located in Vancouver, BC.  Our mission is to represent the finest performers and offer them personalized representation to help them succeed in the entertainment industry.

Principals Talent was established in 1998 with a modest roster of roughly 40 actors. Over the last two decades, the agency has grown while still maintaining the boutique status and style that has helped us to succeed.

Currently, the five agents and assistants represent just over 300 actors between them.  In order to maintain the boutique style of agency we focus on quality and representing actors that are different from one another. This helps to allow us to focus our attention on the small number of talent that we represent and secure auditions for the best possible candidates without the burden of inter-agency competition. Communication and the long-term relationships we build with our talent is key to our success.

Thanks in part to our combined years of experience and level of integrity with which we operate we have been able to develop an excellent reputation among casting directors, producers, directors and photographers around the world. The combination of seasoned veterans and fresh-faced well-trained talent gives industry professionals viable options for all of their production needs.  Principals Talent has access to all facets of the entertainment world. This allows us to offer our talent exciting opportunities all across North America’s major markets and beyond.

Our agents are at the forefront of the next generation of talent representatives.

Jason was born in West Vancouver where he began his career in the entertainment industry at the age of 12.

In high school Jason was a part of the Canadian Improv Games. His team were B.C. champions and competed at Nationals in Ottawa at the Art Center. Jason continued his education through the University of British Columbia and York University in Toronto.

Jason was a client of Principals Talent and it was during this time he began working as an assistant to his agent. Within 3 short months (and at the age of 22), Jason purchased Principals Talent, which at the time represented approximately 40 actors. In the 22 years since, Jason has built Principals to be one of Vancouver’s premier boutique talent agencies covering all divisions - Film, TV, Commercial and Voice Over.

Jason’s development of PT is a testament to his ability and drive. He has developed an agency and brand with a reputation for supplying casting with actors they need. His years in the business have honed his eye for the right look and talent which have help to build Principals to what it is today.

Sara Parker was born in Powell River, B.C and grew up in Richmond, B.C., Western Samoa, and New Zealand.

Sara began her career in the entertainment industry working as a hairstylist for models for runway and print shoots.

Sara started with Principals Talent in the spring of 06, as an assistant to Jason and children’s agent.  Sara took a brief hiatus to complete her Certificate in Public Relations through the University of Victoria; she came back full time to PT in the beginning of 08.

Sara brings her background in Public Relations to the team. She reps performers for film, television, commercials and voice. You can see many of Sara’s actors in the different series currently shooting in Vancouver, Toronto and Los Angeles as well as numerous national and regional commercials.

Sean Burrows was born and raised in North Vancouver. Once graduating high school Sean continued his education at Capilano University’s School of Business, but after only one year in the program he decided to take a risk and refocus his studies.

Two months later Sean enrolled at Pacific Audio Visual Institute in the Film and Music Business Program, it was there Sean got to explore the Entertainment industry. This full time intensive program allowed Sean to study an array of courses including; Film and Record Production, Industry Contracts and Marketing & Promotions along with many others.

After seeing the many opportunities Vancouver’s Entertainment industry had to offer, Sean decided to pursue a career as a talent agent. He has always had passion for Film and Television; having his own IMDBpro account before he even had a job!

His interest and knowledge in all facets of production helped him secure his job first as an assistant to Jason. Sean has proven himself to be knowledgeable and capable and is now developing his own roster of diverse talent.

Jaye has been working in the Film and Television Industry for the last 15 years as both an Agent and a Casting Director. After a short hiatus, following 8 years at Clark and Page Casting, Jaye is excited to return to the business as an Agent with Principals Talent.

Corey Menzies was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and raised in North Vancouver, British Columbia. His journey in the film industry began during his high school years when he enrolled in a Digital Video elective course. It was here that he discovered his passion for film and television.

After high school he enrolled in the film program at Capilano University but after one year he decided to shift his studies, thus proclaiming himself a “film school dropout.”  He continued his education at the Pacific Audio Visual Institute. This full-time intensive program allowed Corey to study an array of courses including; Film and Record Production, Industry Contracts and Marketing & Promotions along with many others.

Corey entered the industry by securing a job as an assistant at a talent agency in Vancouver where he quickly realized he would pursue a career as a talent agent. This led him to another agency, where he eventually climbed the ranks and became an agent. In his very first year as an agent, he achieved a remarkable milestone by booking his first series regular role with his client.

Recognized for his fresh and innovative approach to his work, Corey has earned the self-proclaimed moniker “the actor whisperer.” His ability to genuinely connect with his clients, support them wholeheartedly, and advocate for their success has established him as a trusted and respected figure in the industry.

In August 2022, Corey joined Principals Talent, bringing his expertise and client-centric approach to the agency. With his relentless dedication and passion, Corey continues to make a significant impact, shaping the careers of aspiring actors and solidifying his position as one of the young, energetic, and renowned talent agents in the industry.

Jaime was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. Her whole family is part of the Film and Television Industry as Directors, Producers, Writers, Lighting Designers, Production Managers, and more. Her knowledge of the business is vast and deeply ingrained.

Jaime spent a little time pursuing a career in acting. She graduated from Studio 58’s Acting Program in 2016. However, after the pandemic she decided to switch to a different career path. Jaime worked on the production side of several reality tv shows, was a supervising producer on a live-streaming game show app, and then got back to what she loved - working with actors - by becoming an assistant to Jason and Sean.

Hilary, born and raised in a small town situated on the border of AB/SK, discovered her passion for the performing arts at an early age. With a love for singing, drama, and dance, she dedicated much of her childhood to honing her skills in these areas. She moved to Vancouver in 2016, driven by her desire to pursue an acting career. Little did she know that her true calling awaited her on the other side of the camera.

In the summer of 2019, Hilary embarked on a new chapter at Principals Talent, joining the team as an assistant to Sara and Jaye. Her dedication and determination led to her assuming the responsibility of managing multiple commercial divisions by the fall of 2022. In spring 2023, Hilary took another significant step forward by beginning to develop her own roster.

Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University. Her extensive knowledge spans various domains, cultivated through both professional and educational experiences over the past seven years. At the core of Hilary's values lies a profound belief in the importance of listening to, connecting with, and sharing the human experience. She views communication and connection as humanity’s most powerful tools, recognizing the transformative potential of stories in transcending barriers and shifting perspectives.

We are young, driven and reputable individuals who are passionate about both the industry and making meaningful and long-lasting relationships with our talent. The entertainment industry is constantly changing, and Principals Talent is positioned to capitalize.
