About Us
Principals Talent is a full-service (film, television, commercial and print) agency located in Vancouver, Canada. Our mission is to represent the finest performers in Canada and provide them with the opportunity to succeed in the entertainment industry. We also strive to provide producers, directors, casting directors and photographers with the most professional and talented individuals available.
Principals Talent was established in 1998 with a roster of roughly 40 actors. Since then the company has gone through an extensive expansion, currently employing Sara Parker, Sean Burrows and Jason Ainslie. Principals currently represents 161 actors between them.
Principals Talent’s roster is extremely versatile and diverse. Our talent ranges in age from approximately 4 to 90 years old and accounts for all genders, ethnicities, and physical dimensions.
In order to maintain the boutique status we enjoy, Principals Talent focuses on the quality and not the quantity of the actors we represent. Rather than taking on anyone who walks through the door, we try to maintain a roster of actors who are different from one another. This allows us to focus our attention on the best possible candidates without the burden of inter-agency competition.
Thanks in part to our 10 years of experience and high level of integrity, we have been able to carve out an excellent reputation among casting directors, producers, directors and photographers around the world. The combination of seasoned veterans and fresh-faced newbies that we represent gives industry professionals viable options for all of their production scenarios.
As a member of the Casting Workbook, Breakdown Services and Union of British Columbia Performers (UBCP/ACTRA), Principals Talent has access to all facets of the entertainment world. This allows us to offer our talent exciting prospects and opportunities in all of North America’s major markets, including Los Angeles, where contacts including 3 Arts Entertainment, William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, Global Artists Agency, Abrams Artists Agency, Osbrink Agency and many more help strengthen our position in America’s largest market.
