Season one of the highly anticpated CW Series “HELLCATS” has cast 3 of PT’s finest performers.
Brought to you by Kevin Murphy and Tom Welling (Smallville’s Superman), we follow an upwardly mobile girl from the wrong side of the tracks, MARTI BERGER, who is determined to go to law school and get out of Memphis. But when she loses her scholarship because of budget cutbacks—and her own mother’s chronic irresponsibility—Marti’s hopes seem dashed. Desperate for a new scholarship, Marti tries out for the Hellcats, the college’s competitive cheerleading team, and is accepted into the ranks of the colorful squad. Initially leery about becoming a cheerleader, Marti finds the sport unexpectedly exhilarating.
We see Craig Anderson introduced in Marti’s Law class as the arrogant but oddly likeable nerd “Morgan Pepper.”
Next, Babara Kottmeier as the very hot but very vapid “Rosalie.”
Lastly Elysia Rotaru cast as the universities ballsy, fearless, cheerfully profane character “Betsey.”
Congrats! Hellcats premieres on the CW network and Much Music in Sept 2010.
